How are your Bird Feeders made?

Our bird feeders are handcrafted from high-quality cedar wood, showcasing natural wood grains and artisan finishes. This meticulous craftsmanship ensures that each piece is not only functional but also a stunning statement for any garden or patio.

How long does Cedar last?

Untreated cedar products, made of natural and rot-resistant wood, can typically last for approximately 15 to 20 years under ideal conditions. However, cedar treated with a protective stain can prolong its life even further, potentially lasting over 30 years with proper maintenance

Does my planter need a liner?

No. Your planter is made out of durable materials to serve you with many years in your garden, patio or on your porch. A liner can be a nice touch making repotting easy and extending the life of your planter by a few years.

Do I need to stain my planter?

Short Answer: No. Staining your planter can help reduce sun-bleaching of the wood and increase the water resistance and penetration which can extend the products life. However, Western Red Cedar is incredibly rot and pest resistant helping your planter serve you for years to come.

Where are you located?

We are located and manufacture in Kelowna, British Columbia in the interior of Western Canada. All our wood is sourced locally from Western Red Cedar forests around BC.

Where do I hang my bat box?

High and Sunny. At least 4 feet off the ground and away from trees.

What is your processing time?

It can take 1-2 business days for us to pack, label and ship your order. Please note that we do not operate during local holidays or weekends

We offer free shipping across Canada and on orders to the USA over $250 USD

What if my package doesn't arrive?

We insure our packages to make sure they get to you on time and undamaged. So if you have any issues, let us know and we will get it handled.

What if my product is damaged in transport?

We will replace or refund your product free of charge according to our Returns Policy.

Eligibility for Returns

We accept returns within 30 days of the delivery date. To be eligible for a return:

- The item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it.

- The item must be in its original packaging.

- Proof of purchase (such as an order confirmation or receipt) is required.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns for:

Custom or personalized products, Gift cards, or Items marked as final sale

How to Initiate a return

To begin the return process, please contact our customer support team at sales@kelownawoodcraft.com. Include your order number, a description of the issue, and any relevant photos if applicable. Once your return is approved, we will provide you with instructions on how and where to send your item.

Return Shipping Costs

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs, unless the return is due to an error on our part (e.g., defective, damaged or incorrect item).

We recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. Kelowna Woodcraft is not responsible for lost or damaged returns.

Refunds & Exchanges

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. Approved refunds will be processed within 7-10 business days and issued to the original payment method. Please note that shipping fees are non-refundable.

Exchanges

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange your item for the same product, contact us at sales@kelownawoodcraft.com.

Non-Returnable Issues

Minor variations in color, grain, or texture are natural characteristics of cedar wood and are not considered defects.

Items that are damaged due to improper use, neglect, or lack of care are not eligible for returns or refunds.

Returns must be sent to the address provided during the return authorization process. Unauthorized returns will not be processed.

Kelowna Woodcraft reserves the right to deny returns that do not meet the above criteria.
